My 11 month old pitbull keeps opening the fridge while im not around and eating stuff out of it After i put these NOMoRE !!!!!! Lol i deff recomend it ! Its less than 10 bucks nothing to loose and its good !
Works great to keep my 2 year old out of the fridge :)
I did not expect these to be so simple to attach and still be strong. They are peel and stick, and they really stick. I have yanked on and pulled on the fridge door and they don't budge. I bought them to keep my almost-2 year old out of the fridge and they are definitely strong enough, while being simple enough for me to pop the fridge door open with just my thumb to lift the latch. At just under $4 each, they were well worth the money, and keep both of my refrigerator doors securely shut.
I have used this product before and found it to fit my needs very well. It is not super strong, but when mounted properly(up hight on the door), it works perfectly.
What a bargain, Walmart is bar none when it comes to value. Got this latch for our mini fridges that just don't close that well. Now no worries to find fridge door open. Love that there's a clicking sound insuring that it's closed. Definitely recommend this product!
Our smart dog has learned to open the refrigerator and has raided it on several occasions. So we decided to use baby proofing to keep him out and ordered these latches. My fridge is white and I didn't realize at the time that these are silver colored. This was a disappointment. However, since the dog also opens our garbage and recycling bins, we used these latches on them instead and they work great! The trick is to install them very loosely, so one can open the lid with one hand while holding recyclables in the other. Now when the dog wants to lift the lid, the hook will engage in the latch and voila, the dog much to his dismay is shut out and can't remove anything. I think I will purchase another set - just to have some in reserve. The one criticisme I have is that they are hard plastic and feel quite flimsy and might break after a while plus they are quite pricy for what they are.
This product is good and bad. (Bad)- The latches are plastic with a peel and stick back. One good tug, and the latch pulls right off the refrigerator. Its so easy to pull off. (Good) Because my little girl is 2, a little pull will not break it.
These were easy to install, but they are very flimsy. My toddlers figured out in about 30 minutes that all they had to do was pull back on the plastic, and it would bend it a point that the lock no longer works. These didn't even make it a day at my house.
Our 1 year old broke one the second day it was on our refrigerator while trying to figure it out. Otherwise it was easy to install and worked when he only pulled on the door itself.
This was my third try on buying an item that would keep my kids out of the Fridge... the other two that I bought were a different brand name and broke easily... This item seemed great, the ratings were good so I thought I would try it... nope... my 4 year old son just opened my fridge like nothing... my 2 year old daughter found a way a to unstick the latch from the fridge... At least they lasted a week on my fridge before my kids decided to break them... The glue on this item is not strong enough, I did clean the area before putting them on... and press firmly for a minute completely... not even that worked... all well... guess I'm putting holes on my fridge to put metal latches on them!!!
